Optimizations to Increase AdSense Converstions
Idea 1) Filter out useless ad categories:
- In adsense: Click on “Adsense Setup” up at the top.
- In the top blue nav bar, click “Ad review center”.
- You’ll see a list. CHECK each category which high impressions and low conversions. Why waste perfectly good advertising space on ads that don’t convert?
Like I said, be careful with that one. If you have niches that are far apart, then be careful to NOT accidentally block a relevant category.
Idea 2) Filter out bad advertisers:
I got this one from another thread somewhere around on BHW. Here, you want to remove scammy, crappy, low paying useless advertisers directly.
- Goto: Adsense Setup -> Competitive Ad Filter
- Enter the list below and save

And that’s it. So far both these changed helped me increase my conversions a bit.
